Governor Mimiko’s Aide Slumps, Dies In Government House


Mr. Seyi Adeniyi, a Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, on Tuesday slumped and died while on a visit to the Government House, Akure.
Adeniyi was forty years of age.
DailyPost gathered that not long after Adeniyi slumped, he was rushed to the State Specialist Hospital in Akure, where he was placed on life support. He eventually passed away.
Adeniyi, who until his death was the Special Assistant on Special Duties to Governor Mimiko, had worked as an aide to Senator Ehinlanwo before joining the government.
His last known international outing was when he accompanied Governor Mimiko to the United States of America for a public event at the Centre for Strategy and International Studies in Washington, D.C.
Aside political activities, the deceased founded and served as the Editor-In-Chief of Special Duties, a specialized publication that periodically gives detailed account of the cardinal programmes and the capital projects of the governor of Ondo State.
Governor Mimiko and several other associates have visited the family to condole with them on the sad loss.
