Ihe Neme! African Superstar 2Face Idibia to Kick Off his ‘Campus Connect: 2Face & Friends’ Tour This May 2013

Afro Pop superstar, 2Face Idibia is set to hit the road this May 2013 for the eagerly anticipated ‘Campus Connect: 2face & Friends Tour 2013′. The artist will touring around Nigerian to perform at 5 campus communities in their tertiary institutions. And, after a lot of voting was involved for which school to be picked, here’s his tour schedule: 

• University of Lagos – May 7
• University of Benin – May 9
• University of Port Harcourt – May 14
• Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu – MAy 16
• University of Abuja – May 23.

The tour has Nigeria’s premium non-alcoholic brand, Amstel Malta as its lead sponsor; NM En.Core as the tour producers in partnership with Hypertek and Soundcity.

Here’s what 2Face had to say about the tour:

“I’m looking forward to my return to the campus circuit. It’s been a long time. For mainly timing and availability issues I have been unable to play some of these venues in like 8 years or more so for me, this is big deal. It’s going to be an emotional return to these campuses. I have received and still enjoy massive support from these spots. They are my personal people.”

As for the ‘& friends’ part of the tour bill, a lot of top class artists will be supporting him which include: Dammy Krane, Rocksteady, Vector and Sound Sultan. And, dependent on the location, the following are also billed to perform: Sasha P, Seyi Shey, Timi Dakolo, Phyno, Crystals, Harrysong, Capital F.E.M.I, Solid Star and Efa.

Other  regional cameos will include crowd pleasers like Christian, Nonny D, Fame, Errigga, Mr. 2Kay, Maxi, Sele Bobo, Tee Gee, Dil, Ameena, Shyne, MC Amanna and Ruff Coin. The gigs will be hosted by the ‘king of kool’, Andre Blaze.
